Kathy Rad

Kathy Rad is the conductor of the Tulsa Honors Orchestra, Strolling Strings and the Chamber Orchestra. Kathy Rad is the director and founder of the Tulsa Community College Cello Choir, and she is a String Teacher in Jenks Elementary Schools. Kathy's relaxed yet animated approach to teaching strings ignites a passion for music in her students that lasts a life time. In addition to extensive teaching experience, Kathy is an accomplished musician: Cellist with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Principal Cellist of the Light Opera Oklahoma, Associate Principal Cellist of the International Orchestra in Graz, Austria, live performance on National Public Radio and recordings on the Universal-Republic record label. Kathy also performs in a string quartet with Karen and Jody with the Brady Orchestra.


Karen Harmon

Karen Harmon is the conductor of The Debutante Orchestra. Karen is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Violin, is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Hyechka, and Tulsa Accredited Musicians Teachers Association. Karen performs with Larkin, The Electric Rag Band, The Four Fiddlers of the Apocalypse and The Brady Orchestra. Her performances include classical, Western Swing fiddling, Irish fiddling, Gypsy and rockabilly.


Jody Naifeh

Jody Naifeh, founder of the Tulsa Honors Orchestra 27 years ago, is an accomplished vilolinist and private Suzuki Teacher who radiates warmth and respect. Jody mainains a full studio, punctuated by free-lance performances. Her secluded and beautiful Coyote Mountain Studio, dedicated to the love of all things strings, is a favorite retreat for young string musicians. She is a performing member of the high spirited group Larkin, alongside her side-kick daughter, Karen. Jody and Karen also perform with the Four Fiddlers of the Apocalypse, an Irish reels and jigs band, and the Brady Orchestra.
